38 Weeks Alot Of Discharge

Augusto Alvarez Rodrich

Founding Director of the newspaper Peru 21. Was given the address of this newspaper since the Group of The Trade was made the project of creating this tabloid.
These are some of the considerations set out in the framework of Journalism Project (2008 - 1) of the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru.

Ten steps to formulate a journalistic project:

1. Idea of \u200b\u200bwhat we do: to understand clearly the journalistic project to develop
2. Assessing the market: The idea is that you must have a space in the public market and who to sell the product.
→ Reflection 1: Journalism is a business: people who invest their money looking for the product is sold. Some people have invested their business of journalism to benefit its other businesses, these projects take the time does the benefit of these businesses, then disappear.
3. Sharpen the product, through focus groups and research is to test how the product should be presented.
4. Re-submit the paper to the public (Continue to evaluate the market): It is important to achieve and maintain good circulation of the newspaper.
→ Reflection 2: "The publishers are not important." A newspaper has achieved success when people are addicted to the parts. In this sense, the sections most likely to benefit in the circulation of the newspaper are the amenities, the crossword, Zudoku, the Sports section, Recipes for housewives)
5. Industrial Pages: Choice of color pages and is printed in B & W, printing, etc.
6. Financial Issues: Investment, 'when I start to win and how much I earn. " Journalism in a slow business.
Reflection 3: The newspaper Peru 21 recouped its investment in 3 years, who was the lead time before starting the project.
7. TEAM: In Peru 21 went slowly contracting. To recruit the 65 people who started the main quest was to maintain the plurality, sexual orientation, political opinion, tastes, etc.
→ Reflection 4: PerĂº21 Advantage: We worked Volume 0 (zero) for three months. In those 3 months, the team prepared for the pace.
8. Departure date. Define an exit date after all the other variables (design, political tendency, target audience, etc..) Have already been resolved.
9. Medium-term business. This is not a business matures and bears fruit quickly.
10. Settings: The idea that we may at first be changing, a journalistic project can not be static.

When the same thing happens, it happens the same ...
